Hi, I'm so glad you're here.

If there's one word that has defined my life with Jesus, it's abide.

I grew up in church, and if I'm honest, my testimony isn't filled with a dramatic turning point. My testimony is that I stayed. Through questions, disappointments, unexpected seasons, and moments when it seemed easier—or even made sense—to walk away, I chose to remain. Not because I had all the answers, but because I found that Jesus had never stopped being faithful to me.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

-John 15:5

One of my favorite places to meet with God is my kitchen. I love to bake, and somewhere between measuring ingredients, kneading dough, and waiting patiently for something to rise, God has spoken to my heart time and time again. My kitchen has become my secret place. A reminder that He is found not only in extraordinary moments, but in the everyday rhythms of a life surrendered to Him.

It was in those ordinary moments that The Hem & Twelve was born.

I created this space because I believe there is often a missing part of the faith journey, a gap between experiencing healing and learning how to live as a disciple afterward. We spend so much time helping people come to Christ, but sometimes we don't know how to walk with Him when life starts life-ing again.

The Hem & Twelve exists to come alongside men and women of every age, background, and season of faith. Through Bible studies, thoughtful resources, and stories from real people walking with Jesus, my prayer is that you find both healing and direction. I hope you discover that discipleship isn't about perfection but it's about abiding.

Everything created here is held to one simple standard: if it is not from God, it is not from us. My desire is to walk alongside you like a mentor, steady, honest, and rooted in the truth of God's Word.
